The summer has started off in a race. We have been on the go non stop, but for the most part it has been a lot of fun. Combined Thomas and I have been to five states in the past 31 days… Tennessee, South Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma and Kentucky. Phew, I am tried just thinking about it.
Last week I was in Austin for a conference for work. It was a blast. Let me tell you my company knows how to show you a good time! We returned Thursday night, worked Friday and left right after work for Memphis (arriving at about 1am.) It was a lot but we just had to visit Maybree on her birthday and why not with a three-day weekend.
Saturday, Maybree’s bday, we got up and headed to the lake with my sis and her in- laws. They showed us a good time at Fat Daddy’s, a restaurant on the lake that has live music, girls in bikinis and portal potties. (Can you picture it??) And now Maybree can always say she went to a bar on her 1st birthday.
Thomas’s parents arrive tonight for a weekend visit and then we are on the go again. I guess that’s what summers are for…travel!
Oh! And we were chosen to be put online for Bud Light's new Wheat beer. Ha!
